“Our homes are the display case of our hearts – the collection of our story.”

Mid-Century Kitchen Update
The Challenge: Update a small, outdated kitchen without losing the integrity of the original, mid-century appeal. Blending modern updates while honoring the original style of an older home without it feeling disjointed can be a challenge.
Here’s what we did…

Floorplan: We recaptured the original formal dining room to expand the kitchen and maximize counter space, giving them plenty of storage, as well as a 10 foot island.

Color: By using a natural and neutral color palette on the walls and cabinets, we kept the kitchen light and open. We matched the rich, mahogany staining on the woodwork through the home by bringing it onto the island, vent hood and floating shelves.

Finishes: Champagne gold finishes and light fixtures that nod to the mid-century vibe, were the icing on the cake to bring this stunning kitchen into the transitional/modern farmhouse styled beauty that she is!
What Clients Are Saying
“Laura took our few ideas and branding into consideration during our consult. She was able to work within the limitations of our space and budget to pull off a gorgeous cohesive space for our nonprofit. Subtle touches of colors and shapes really made the space come together well. We enjoyed working with Laura and highly recommend her!”

“I am speechless! There are so many personal touches, mementos and repurposed beauty intertwined in these two rooms now. And a place to gather and share stories…I can’t adequately express how much this has blessed me. Thank you.”

“I can’t thank you enough for all the work you did to stage our house to sell! Looking at the pictures on the listing made me incredibly proud of our little house, and it clearly attracted the right buyers! Within 48 hours we had FIVE offers to choose from, and were under contract by the next day. I’m confident that had a lot to do with your work! You truly have a gift.”
